1988  InterMed Sdn Bhd was founded by Dieter Wiese, specializing in rubber related products was later diversified into Oleochemicals business.

1994  Polyol division was formed to engage in research and development to manufacture Polyol for Polyurethanes applications from Palm Oil.

2001  Pharmaceutical division was launched as a new strategic business unit specializing in sales of pharmaceutical ingredients which was later      

 

           transformed into a new business venture - Food & Nutraceutical division.

​

2003  Entered into joint venture with Industrial Quimica Lasem from Spain to form Lasem Asia Sdn. Bhd, specializing in sales of esters in Asia.

​

2005  Attained our ISO 9001 status.

​

2006  PolyGreen Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was established as an expansion of the Polyol division, commencing commercial production

 

           of polyol.

​

2011  InterMed Esters Sdn Bhd was formed after full acquisition of Lasem Asia Sdn Bhd, effectively expanding the Group's ester business.

​

2012  InterMed Manufacturing Sdn Bhd commenced production of a comperehensive range of Betaines

​

2016  Commenced operation of new production facilities of InterMed Esters Sdn Bhd.

​

2017  Establishment of InterMed Chemical Co.,Ltd in Thailand.
